MAJLIS TAMAT LATIHAN KUMP 3 SIRI 6/2009
Majlis tamat latihan Kump 3 Siri 6/2009 pada 4hb Sept 2009, hari Jumaat bertempat di dewan syarahan, Kem Damai Park. Majlis ini disempurnakan dengan ringkas, sempena bulan puasa, oleh Tuan Komandan Kem, Mejar Zamri bin Hamzah.

SAMBUTAN KEMERDEKAAN KE 52
The merdeka celebration was started a week earlier.
Each company was given a task to create the Jalur
Gemilang flag. The occasion was celebrate on the 30th
night. The celebration begins after terawih prayer with
late supper. The trainees gathered at the lecture hall.
With the arriving of the guest of honor, it started with
a poetry reading and followed by a video show on semangat
kemerdekaan. The occasion ends with the final countdown at
midnight when the clock struck 0001 hr.

WIRAJAYA
This activity exposed the trainees on the topic of map
reading, navigation, pertolongan cemas, land rescue
and jungle survival skills. It was carried out safely at shallow
jungle area around the camp. 17 August 2009

MENEMBAK
15 ogos 2009. Latihan menembak di Pusat Latihan Rela
Wilayah Utara, Bkt. Selambau. Only wira was allowed to
practice their shooting skills because female trainers for the
wirawati were absent. Maybe tommorow.....

KRAFHUTAN
We have just finish conducting a briefing on jungle survival
skills. The briefing was conducted at the krafhutan site.
The trainees were introduce to types of jungle fruits and
shoots that can be eaten for survival. 3rd.Oct.09

OBSTACLE TRAINING
An activity on obstacle training was carried out today.
The trainees goes through the obstacle according to their
respective campany namely alpha, bravo, charlie and delta.
However the male(wira) and female trainee (wirawati) were
separated. The obstacle, monkey rack and tarzan swing prove
to be a challenging task to the wirawati. Most of them have a wet
evening today. Please take a bath next time. - 02 nd Oct.2009

COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAME - 29 july 2009
There were five locations chosen for this activities, PDK Bedong,
Hospital Sultan Abd. Halim, Jabatan Perairan dan Saliran, JPA3
and Tapak Cari Gali (excavation site). However, the following
activities will be reviewed due to the H1N1 treat.

KEDAH SEJAHTERA EXPO
The visit to Kedah Sejahtera Expo was fun. Everybody
enjoy themselves to various kind of food fare, exibition,
games and music show. The visit involved wirawati
(female trainees)only.

MAP READING/NAVIGATION THEORY
Please pay attention and be serious...otherwise you
will be lost in the jungle during actual training.
MAP READING/NAVIGATION TRAINING
We are now having a map reading class held at the lecture hall. One of the physical trainer is conducting the class. The trainee was divided into 20 groups with each group given a map, location district of Gurun, Kedah. Each group will then be given a compass to navigate their group to a given location carried out inside the camp's compound.

CERAMAH AKPK
Satu ceramah tentang pengurusan kewangan telah diadakan pada pagi ini 25hb. Julai bertempat di dewan syarahan. Ceramah tersebut disampaikan oleh seorang pensyarah dari UUM yang mewakili pihak AKPK. Ceramah ini penting untuk mendedahkan kepada pelatih tentang pengurusan kewangan yang bijak yang perlu dimulai dari awal.

CUTI LATIHAN/COURSE BREAK
Cuti latihan untuk kumpulan 3 siri 6/2009 baru saja tamat iaitu dari 18 hingga 22hb. Julai 2009. Semua pelatih dikehendakki pulang ke kem sebelum jam 1700 ptg ini. Sebanyak 3 buah bas daripada Kelantan yang membawa pelatih seramai 108 berlepas daripada Kota Bharu pada jam 0900 pg bertempat di Stadium Kota Bharu. Bas tersebut akan singgah di Stadium Daerah Macang sebelum terus ke Kem Damai Park Resort Merbok, Kedah.
Selamat Bercuti dan Selamat Pulang.

This is the high tower for high rope activities. One of the female trainee is doing abseiling.
COMMUNITY SERVICE PROGRAM
Tomorrow on the 11th. feb will be the first comm. service program. Trainees were divided into 16 small group and 4 groups will attend one destination. The groups will visit JPA3, Jab. Hutan, PDK Bedong and Jab. Penjara.
The trainees will gain some knowledge on the respective agencies, their role, organizational chart, career opportunities, motivational input and probably do some activities or games.
Each group will be escorted by two facilitator, a male and a female. This is to ensure the trainees safety and discipline.
